What do you do for work?
I help university faculty and staff name, claim, and aim their Clifton Strengths. In addition, I support leaders who want to lead using their strengths on a consistent basis.
What does your company do?
Elevate Resilience Consulting partners with individuals and organizations to help them reach their maximum potential. The team focuses on asking, listening, and collaborating to create practical plans that work for each client, delivering personalized strategies, prompt communication, high-quality service, and measurable results.
How do you use Clifton Strengths in your organization and how has it helped you, your team, or your clients grow?
It’s the basis of all I do. Clifton Strengths has helped me understand that I have unique contributions in every space I enter and that I can add value to others by intentionally leading with my strengths.
What do you like most about StrengthsMugs?
I have bought a StrengthsMug for former clients and collaborators. It’s a daily reminder that we are at our best when we focus on our strengths.

Dr. John Augusto is a certified Clifton Strengths coach and consultant who has worked with for-profit corporations, nonprofit organizations, and universities to support collaboration, innovation, and performance through strengths-based development.
His work includes partnerships with institutions such as Kennesaw State University, Georgia State University, and the University of Kansas, where he focused on creating impactful learning opportunities and building experiential partnerships with nonprofit and community leaders.
John holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Washburn University and a Ph.D. in Education from the University of Kansas. He has been a certified Clifton Strengths coach and consultant since 2016.
