Dennis Volpe currently serves as a Principal Consultant and Executive Performance and Transition Coach with the Leadership Research Institute where he partners with organizations to accelerate the development of their Leaders and Leadership Teams by developing, equipping, and empowering them to be the transformative force needed to make their environment and, ultimately, the world a better place.
Dennis’ understanding of personal leadership comes from his over twenty years of experience as a career Naval Officer to include Command at Sea and a variety of intellectual pursuits. Strengths Based Leadership is an integral part of the leadership development equation at the Leadership Research Institute where Dennis works. He is a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach and utilizes the CliftonStrengths Assessment for internal team development and with his clients, knowing it provides the opportunity for an introspective look at one's areas of genius, enabling one to engage effectively with work and life.
If that’s not impressive enough, Dennis is also the international best-selling author of Transition on Purpose which provides a personal story of transition illustrating success, failure, and personal resilience. He is also the Founder of the Severn River Leadership Group, a Veteran-owned small business committed to the development and success of military veteran, first responder and elite athlete owned small businesses through small business investing, performance coaching, and leadership consulting.
