Kinita Schripsema is Founder and CEO of Seema Global Consulting, whose mission is to promote cultural understanding so individuals, companies and organizations are equipped and empowered to build and celebrate diversity allowing them to grow forward together.
Kinita was born in India and has lived cross-culturally since the age of five between Canada and the U.S.A. Although Kinita has decades of experience in the small business arena and has held many volunteer positions, her treasured professional accomplishments include being a published author, an international speaker, a cultural consultant, and, of course, Founder and CEO of Seema Global Consulting.
The CliftonStrengths assessment is an integral part of Kinita’s Transformational Coaching sessions where she helps clients connect their strengths to their cultural nuances and discover the impact and need for both. The assessment is also popular with her team members, enabling everyone to excel and work well together. Her top five strengths are Connectedness, Responsibility, Activator, Belief and Woo.
Kinita and her husband, Ken, work together everyday from home. Collectively, they have over 50 years of experience in the areas of leadership, team development, and cultural education. Seema Global Consulting is based in Michigan, but Kinita and Ken relocated to Nagpur, Maharashtra, India to set up a new branch of SGC. Their StrengthsMugs help them stay connected, reminding them of each other’s strengths and helping them to avoid stepping on each other’s toes. When things get tough, Kinita’s mug helps her focus on what she can do rather than what lies outside her control.
